Welcome to the
Boy Scouts of America Eagle
Project completed to document the Wauwatosa Cemetery. If you take a walking
tour of the cemetery, you see many who helped build Wauwatosa. If you cannot
walk through the cemetery, click on the names to see the 3889 various
headstones recorded here or go to Other
to see many of the views within the cemetery through its seasons. Note: several
of the headstones are made of sandstone and are slowing being reclaimed by
nature and may not be read through the photo taken much less in person.
There are currently 19 historical notes attached to the names. They are
marked at the beginning of the name with the following symbol:
.
Click on the symbol to view the additional information. You may want to
bookmark this website if you have elementary grade school children in Wauwatosa
School District. They are required to do some research on Wauwatosa historical
information some time during their elementary experience.
Any name with
a American flag
at the
beginning, is a veteran. |
